Sustainability Statement
Fashion Vocabulary is committed to responsible practice across our operations. As a digital platform, we recognise our infrastructure footprint and are developing a comprehensive sustainability report, publishing by end of 2026.
Currently, we support two key initiatives aligned with planetary boundaries. First, we donate a portion of our annual profits to Nature.org, prioritising their work to protect oceans, land, and freshwater—directly addressing the water intensity of data centre operations. Second, we partner with Onward Paper Mill in Nigeria, founded in 1953 and foundational to literacy across the country. We support their infrastructure development toward circular printing solutions, ensuring sustainable capacity for future editions of our published works.
By investing in established, mission-driven organisations rather than offset schemes alone, we contribute meaningfully to systemic change in fashion and beyond.
