the Author

Hana Towobola is a lexicographer, and the author of Sustainable Fashion Vocabulary.

After a decade building the luxury brands Tobi and Lara Hannah, she developed a sustainable biomaterial, Placrylic, endorsed by Dana Thomas, author of Fashionopolis.

She then spent three years developing the PULI Framework, a research methodology mapping sustainable fashion terminology against the Planetary Boundaries, the UNSDGs and the fashion industry’s documented challenges. The result is Sustainable Fashion Vocabulary—fashion’s first encyclopaedic dictionary in history, providing practitioners with a precise, in-depth evidence-based vocabulary to navigate the field.
